What's a File Pull?

A File Pull is a selection of 5 - 10 locations that fit the creative and strategic needs for an event or media production. The Searchlight Locations digital ecosystem contains photography, contacts, and logistic considerations for highly valuable locations that are well prepared to be safe, hospitable, and easy-to-work-with. When event planners, media producers, production companies, or businesses are in need of a quick selection of locations that will seamlessly support their needs, Searchlight Locations can prepare a custom File Pull report for them in 2 - 24 hours.

Who's a Location Representative?

Location Representatives are location owners, property managers, or other delightful humans who may help grant access and arrange logistics for a residential, commercial, infrastructure, institution, venue, or natural space.

Searchlight Location Representatives benefit from our intuitive logistics and communications tools that increase your ability to host a variety of media productions & events. We additionally provide consultation or negotiation services so you will receive valuable location fee payments.

What's a Location Fee?

A Location Fee covers the cost of renting a Location Representative's space for the duration of an event or media production. Searchlight Locations has negotiated fees such as $2,500 / day for a Low Impact Independent Production and upwards of $35,000 / day for a High Impact Commercial Production. Location Fees can vary greatly depending on several impact and value factors. We are committed to helping you negotiate the most reasonable and highest value Location Fees for your location.

We send out experienced Scouts to professionally photograph & initiate contact with your customized selection of sites. Work with our Scouts to navigate your creative, logistical, and financial needs.
  • Location Management - Your production or event can be set up for success by working with our expert Location Managers. We coordinate transparently with vendors, media production departments, and government entities, as well as legal, insurance, and accounting professionals. We always consider safety first and ensure that your event or production's focus stays where it needs to be: friendly humans having a great time & sharing a healthy space.
